Dresdner Robin was retained by Panepinto Properties in connection to the acquisition and redevelopment of a 3.5 acre property in the heart of downtown Jersey City. Formerly owned by and operated by the Port Authority of NY and NJ as a railcar maintenance facility, the industrial property was redeveloped into a vibrant, mixed use, transit oriented neighborhood with the first phase consisting or a 30 story residential tower with 400 luxury rental units. Our environmental services included remedial investigations of soil and groundwater, excavation and off-site disposal of contaminated soil and free product.
Upon completion of various stages of investigation, remediation and development, in compliance with applicable local, and state rules and technical guidance, Dresdner Robin prepared the required documentation for submittal to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) including a Site Investigation Report, Remedial Investigation Report, Action Workplan, Deed Notice, and a Remedial Action Report. Upon completion of remediation and redevelopment a letter of No Further Action (NFA) was issued by the NJDEP.
