Dresdner Robin was retained by KRE Properties in connection to the acquisition of multiple properties and for a high rise redevelopment in the heart of downtown Jersey City, NJ. Our environmental services included property due diligence investigations consisting of preliminary assessments, site investigations, asbestos surveys and the preparation of remediation cost estimates to assist our clients in mitigating liability. Upon acquisition, Dresdner Robin continued with the necessary investigation and remediation in compliance with applicable local, state and federal rules and technical guidance. Activities included remedial investigations of soil and groundwater, removal of underground storage tanks, excavation and off-site disposal of contaminated soils and construction oversight.
Upon completion of various stages of investigation, remediation and development, Dresdner Robin prepared the required documentation for submittal to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) including, Preliminary Assessment Reports, Site Investigation Reports, Remedial Investigation Reports, UST Closure Reports, Remedial Action Workplans, Deed Notices, Classification Exception Areas and Remedial Action Reports. Upon completion of remediation and redevelopment the NJDEP issued a letter of No Further Action (NFA) for the property.
