Dresdner Robin was retained by KRE and Claremont Properties to develop a seventeen (17) story mixed-use (residential and retail) high rise building in Jersey City, NJ. Dresdner Robin provided initial due diligence services regarding the existing underground sewer interceptor traversing the site. Said sewer will continue to bisect the property and required intricate design to accommodate the building span over the sewer and easement while allowing the utilities agencies vehicular access through the building over the sewer line. The 17,000 square foot building footprint would accommodate 398 residential units, commercials space and covered parking beneath. Dresdner Robin continued on the project by providing civil engineering design and surveying including the preparation of site plans and property subdivision. Dresdner Robin prepared various permit applications which have been secured including local municipal site plan approval, county board for subdivision approval and approval from various utility authorities for water and sewer. The design included two underground storm water management detention basins and conveyance systems throughout the site.
Dresdner Robin’s scope of work included the preparation of construction documents and providing construction administration services included shop drawing review, responses to RFI’s, and coordination with regulatory agencies.
