Dresdner Robin was retained by Metro Homes in connection to the acquisition of a property for a high rise condominium redevelopment project in downtown Jersey City, NJ. Towering at over 500 feet high, Trump Plaza is currently the tallest residential building in New Jersey. Our environmental services included property due diligence investigations consisting of preliminary assessments, site investigations, asbestos surveys and the preparation of remediation cost estimates to assist our clients in mitigating liability. Upon acquisition, Dresdner Robin continued with the necessary investigation and remediation in compliance with applicable local, state and federal rules and technical guidance. Activities included remedial investigations of soil and groundwater, geophysical investigations, excavation and off-site disposal of contaminated soils and construction oversight.
Upon completion of various stages of investigation, remediation and development, Dresdner Robin prepared the required documentation for submittal to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) including a Preliminary Assessment Report, Site Investigation Report, Remedial Investigation Report, Remedial Action Workplan, Deed Notice and a Classification Exception Area. Upon completion of remediation and redevelopment, Dresdner Robin will issue a Response Action Outcome (RAO).
